“The Lady”—Luc Besson
“Friends With Kids”
So, not to brag or anything, but I’ve actually already seen a sneak peek of this movie. And it’s pretty great. I think Jennifer Westfeldt juggles writing, acting, and producing better than most—and the movie is sweet without being cloying.
You guys. I wept through this trailer. Forget about the movie.

Yeah. Yeah. This one will be going on the DVR queue.
Will this film be good? Jury’s still out, but the trailer is set to “Kid A,” so I have hope.

Went to an advance screening in July, have thought about this movie a whole lot since. An NC-17 rating? Do not understand. The sex scenes are somewhat graphic, I guess, but moreso they’re real. Real in the way that makes you shift in your seat because you’ve been there and your skin is crawling and everything is uncomfortable. Still. The MPAA is stuuuuuupid.
