I’m always so impressed by Andy Serkis’ work. Not only is he an absolutely brilliant actor, but at this point he pretty much exclusively does work for CGI, knowing all the while that his face will not once appear on screen. I don’t know a single actor who isn’t a bit self-involved or vainglorious (and the ones who tell you they aren’t are LYING), so the thought of knowing that if you do your job right, no one will think about you kind of knocks my socks off.
